inflation is taken into account.
Feed the Children: Now ranked No. 5, it was No. 57 in 1991
and increased giving by $1-billion.
Food for the Poor: Now ranked No. 6, it was No. 244 in 1991
and increased giving by $1-billion. That rise was the biggest
percentage gain of any charity that has been on the list for the past
20 years. It was followed in biggest percentage gains by Habitat
for Humanity, which was No. 251 on the list and is now No. 11.
