Responding to Essential and Evolving Needs
The Actors Fund is a national human services organization that
helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment in
times of need, crisis, or transition. With an array of social, health,
housing, and employment services, The Fund is a safety net for
this community of writers, make-up artists, directors, stagehands,
dancers, musicians, and more. While these professionals are used
to ups and downs in their careers—more so than people in other
professions—the economic downturn and industry changes have
made The Fund’s programs more critically important. To address
this challenge, The Actors Fund raised more than $10.1 million to
significantly enhance its current endowment, immediately improve
and expand its key programs, as well as strengthen its emergency
financial assistance fund. CCS is proud to
partner with The Actors Fund to help support the
performing arts and entertainment community.
