A fast-growing public charity supporting education and funding for a
childhood cognitive disorder is seeking a dynamic Executive Director
to lead the organization to the next level of program activity and
fundraising development.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in a senior
position at a public charity and demonstrated experience with
long-term strategic planning, program development and innovative
fundraising initiatives.
Experience using donor-participatory sports tournaments as a
fundraising tool is a plus, but not required. Approximately 30-days of
national travel per year is required.

is looking for a dynamic, experienced candidate for the position
of President & CEO. The primary responsibility is to direct the
organization and align his or her vision with the organization’s future,
providing leadership and direction toward FFC’s Mission, Vision and
Goals. A strong executive management skill set is required. The job
requires experience working with American Indian tribal nations and
communities.
Qualifications: Master’s degree (MA) or equivalent; ten+ years’
related experience or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Proven track record of donor cultivation, relationships
and stewardship. Outstanding public speaking skills. Experienced
with directing the fiscal function and performance of an organization.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with Board of Directors, staff, American Indian
communities and corporate executives.
The VP is part of the President’s administrative cabinet, leads the
Seminary in efforts to engage and expand the donor base, and is the
senior officer responsible for directing the planning, implementation
and administration of all development programs. The VP prepares
strategic plans with short and long range goals to meet institutional
funding objectives. Experience with Capital Campaigns, Annual Funds,
and Major Gifts a must. Some travel involved. Salary commensurate

Seeking professional Federal Research Grant Writers with a
minimum of 10 years' experience in writing, submitting and
successfully securing research federal grants, particularly
for health care related projects. Preference given those with
experience writing research applications to the various NIH
institutes, AHRQ, CDC, NSF, USDA/DoD. Experience in private
consulting is a plus. Must have excellent writing, critical thinking,
and oral communication skills; must also be able to provide at
least two samples of successful research applications submitted
as well as a list of successfully funded federal grant applications.
Relocation is not necessary. This is a contract not a staff position.
