The Senior Director of Development will help to build a community of philanthropic

S/he will work closely with the Dean and report to the Associate Vice President for
University Development as the principal architect of a complex and integrated program
of development activities for the McDonough School. The university-wide $1.5B
campaign includes a $100M goal for transformational programs and future growth at
the McDonough School. The Senior DOD will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for all McDonough School fundraising efforts to achieve these
fundraising goals.

Georgetown College encompasses undergraduate and graduate programs in the Arts
and Sciences. The Associate Director reports to the Senior Director in support of the
Dean's priorities and programs for all academic initiatives in Georgetown College.
The College has a campaign goal of $152M.
The Associate Director plays an integral role in qualifying, cultivating and soliciting
known individual major gift prospects and also following up leads generated from

Assistant Director for Advancement
Founded in 1910, Cate School is a grade 9-12, coeducational, college
preparatory boarding school in Carpinteria, California. What began as
a group of twelve boys and a few teachers has expanded into a 265-
student, 57-teacher, deeply academic, talented, and remarkably diverse community. Cate is one of
the nation’s most selective boarding schools, accepting 20% of applicants each year.
Cate announced the successful completion of a $65M Centennial Campaign in December 2011,
followed by news that in June 2012, the Board of Trustees will convene to adopt a new strategic plan.
Cate is seeking an experienced, creative, committed fund-raising professional to serve as Assistant
Director for Advancement.
Primary responsibilities include overseeing the Annual Fund program and designing and
implementing the Class Fund program and other endowment and capital fundraising. Work will
